Location:           The Pickleball Club at Tysons

When:                 Feb 2, 16, 23, March 2, 9, 16

Sunday nights 7:00-9:00pm

• Start Date is Feb 2
• Finals is March 16

Format:             

• Lots of play! - Round Robin each night (Regular Season), with 4 matches (games to 15 by 2)
• Anything goes team format (Men, Women, or Mixed allowed)

• The last night (March 16) will be the finals, where we break teams into two divisions (top 7/8 teams in A, and lower 7/8 teams in B) and have a 7 or 8 team double-elimination bracket for each.  All teams are in a bracket, and seeded by their Total Points!  1st and 2nd place teams in each division will split the pool at 75/25%. (NOTE: if a true A Division team drops to B Division due to forfeits/subs, they will be kept in the A Division.  

• Subs ARE ONLY  allowed for regular season, NOT FOR FINALS ON MARCH 16!...sub must have a lower DUPR, AND be clearly no more skilled than regular player being subbed for.

Divisions:         

• Two divisions, A and B
• Initially ranked by Team DUPR, then on-going record via ladder format

Registration:    

• If you are registering with a teammate or individually, you both still "Register as an Individual" vs. as a team.  We will match you with the teammate you specify!

Then select "Pickleball - Feb/Mar Winter 2025 League at Tyson's Pickleball Club" from the list of open registrations, and continue with remaining steps.

Cost:

• Per person - $125 with an OPTIONAL $25 to be added to the prize pool which will be fully paid-out
• If player does not opt-in for the $25, they will not be eligible for the payout.

Payout:              

1st and 2nd place teams in each division will split the pool at 75/25%.

• The TOP 7 or 8 teams will be in the  A Division, and bottom 7 or 8 will be in B Division
• Division winners increase their Legends Gold Challenge (Details here) total as well!

Other Info:

• HOT PADDLES - We use USAP-allowed list BUT also do not allow Joola TA-15 and Gearbox Pro Power
• We also strongly recommend wearing eye protection
• Both these divisions are competitive, so if you are looking for a strictly social league, please be aware!
• Results will NOT be entered in DUPR
• For team eligibility, we use published DUPR, standard 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0
• A maximum team DUPR of 9.5 is allowed (e.g., one 4.5 and one 5.0 player)
• A minimum team DUPR of 6.5 is allowed (e.g., one 3.0 and one 3.5 player)
• DUPR is only used for initial seeding for Week 1

• Getting your own partner is highly recommended, but if you can't find one, there are two ways we can assist:
